It was nice to meet, at ECNU, many former visitors, Staff, Fellows and Guest Professors, to UNU-IIST. To them their stay at UNU-IIST, as late as the mid 00's, was of vital importance to their studies and career.
With Jean-Raymond Abrial first to the Hu Xin Ting teahouse next to the Yu Yuan garden, then for lunch at M on the Bund (1) and M on the Bund (2).

Was taken to the nearby HongQiao railway station at 7:50 am by
Prof. Zhu HuiBiao and Ms Xi Wu. A luxurious business class seat in an
almost empty train carried me at 300
2 km/hour in 4h48min to Beijing.
