CMOS Gate Demo
Demo of
CMOS Gates
Using Java
These Java applets have been written as a test and demonstration for Java/Hotjava by the TECH group at the Computer Science Department, University of Hamburg.

The examples demonstrate how CMOS transistors and basic gates function. Further Java demonstrations on the server can be found at the TECH server.

Java 1.0 version. The applets use different colors to indicate voltage levels: They will only display correctly on a color display. You need a Java 1.0 compatible browser like Netscape, MSIE, or Suns appletviewer to run the applets.
The applets use colors to display the different voltages:
      1) Logical '1' corresponding to the positive supply, VDD
      2) Logical '0' corresponding to GND
      3) A floating wire, not connected to VDD nor GND
      4) A short circuit condition, i.e. a connection from VDD to GND
