Location - Rutsker
Rutsker is a parish and a very small town north of Hasle Bornholm. In 2005 the village had approx. 69 inhabitants. Locally it is called Church city, which is also the name of the road leading through town.
The village is best known for Ruts Church 130 m asl which makes it Denmark's highest. The village is also known for being the birthplace of the Skagen painter Michael Ancher. Poul Anker, one of the freedom fighters against the Swedish government in the 1600s, was a priest in Ruts Church from 1654-97.
Rutskerferie
Rutsker Holiday Resort, Rutskerferie, is a relatively new resort on the beautiful north island. The location at approx. 110 m above sea level obviously gives a great view - especially over the Baltic Sea, where one can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets imaginable.
The Swimming Lake is the latest initiative - they've got a fantastic lake built in the garden. The lake is free of chemicals.
There are different apartments that can have 2-5 people.
