Common Criteria Design Toolbox

Tore Bredal Nygaard

AbstractThe Common Criteria framework was developed by different organizations to create a common standard for improving comparability between the security of IT products. The framework involves creating Protection Profiles (PP) which are implementation independent security documents, describing security requirements for a family of IT products. Each of these PPs follow a defined structure that can be evaluated by PP evaluators.

This thesis presents the design and implementation of a prototype of a Toolbox which purpose is to help PP developers develop PPs, following this uniform structure.
