IoT systems promise to be everywhere to sense and influence our environment. We cannot yet foresee, which data will be collect, and how interactions between the environment and IoT systems will happen. We lack especially understanding of, how we should treat IoT systems and their software, and how to deal with identified vulnerabilities that might require patching of millions of remote devices.
In this project, we want to analyse some IoT systems, try to identify classes of systems with respect to risk, patchability, etc, and develop mitigations for the found threats.
