Bachelorprojekt - Softwareteknologi | Project No. 0107: Evaluation of Transmission Power Selection Algorithms for Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Networks |
Aktuelle | Tidligere |
Transmission power controls the transmission range of a node and thus the number of links between the nodes of a wireless sensor network. The goal of this project is to implement several transmission power (Ptx) selection algorithms and incorporate them in an existing model of Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Networks (EH-WSNs) in MATLAB. Some examples of Ptx selection algorithms are the following: (i) constant transmission power, (ii) maximizing the number of links, (iii) keep a constant number of neighbors for each node or (iv) selection based on the available energy to harvest of each node. The algorithms need to be evaluated in different scenarios such as sparse/dense topologies and various levels of environmental energy.
