Kapow Software develops a product for extraction from web-based sources and automation of web-based systems. It is for instance used for extraction of pricing and product information, moving data from legacy-systems into new systems via the web interface and fast creation of web services from existing web-based systems. The project relates to possible extensions of this product and may be co-supervised by Kapow Software employees.
The goal is to develop a program that automatically extracts authors, comments, dates and other information from blog entries or discussion articles on previously unseen websites.
