SunSpot is recent, experimental technology developed by Sun. A SunSpot is a match-box sized wireless computer which may be equipped with various kinds of sensors. SunSpots may be programmed in Java.
This project is available for students who would like to exploit the technology potential for forming distributed ad-hoc sensor networks. Applicants are expected to have their own idea of such an application.

Restrictions: In the Spring 2011 this project is limited to 1-2 groups
