Bachelorprojekt - Softwareteknologi | Project No. 0016: Detection and tracking of motion patterns in video data |
Aktuelle | Tidligere |
Based on image feeds from a camera, a scene is to be analysed to detect behavioral patterns in an outdoor or indoor environment.
The system should learn from the image data and use this knowledge to make sensible predictions or classifications. For example the camera could observe a parking lot and detect motions, people or cars and give an alarm if a possible a theft may occur. Also, the motion patterns of farm animals could be analysed in order to detect health problems by a change in the pattern.
The image data may be obtained from video, web or more sophisticated 3D-Time- of-Flight cameras or a combination of these. The proposed algorithms should strive for robustness and reliability, both in terms of the underlying software and image models.
Image data may acquired by the students or through image sequences supplied by the supervisors.
Some knowledge of simple linear algebra may be needed.
Several projects are possible in this area. The projects can be take by bachelor studens in "Matematik og Teknologi" as well as "Softwareteknologi".
