This project involves designing and implementing a system for e-Commerce which is based on mobile software agents, i.e. pieces of software which can move from one computer to another in order to carry out their tasks. A standard agent environment based on Java will be used. The agents are expected to accumulate information from the computers which they visit, in order to decide on an optimal site from which to purchase objects specified by users of the e-Commerce system. For a bigger challenge, you could also try to let the agents negotiate a better offer, better delivery conditions or similar.
