Background
I am industrial PhD in medical imaging analysis from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), department of Informatics, 2011.
I was with Siemens Healthcare, Denmark during my PhD project of three years.
This project was caried out in close co-operation with the Department of Clinical Physiology, Nuclear Medicine, and PET, Rigshospitalet, Denmark and DTU Informatics.
In 2008 I finished at that time the brand new education Master of science in Medical and Technology from the Technical University of Denmark, department of Electrical Engineering and Copenhagen University (KU), Faculty of Health Sciences.
It is a 5 years education with 1/3 of medical courses at KU, Faculty of Health Sciences and 2/3 of engennering courses at DTU Electrical Engineering.
The idea of the education is to close the gap between the users of medical technologi and the engineers that develop and improve the use of medical technologi.
