Registration procedure

The PARA96 Registration form following this page should be filled in and submitted via the WWW to the conference secretariat.
All questions concerning registration, accommodation or payments should be addressed to International Conference Services A/S, ICS - e-mail: para96@ics.dk

In case your WWW browser does not support posting forms, or if you want a paper copy to sign, the annexed registration form (postscript and ascii) could be downloaded and attached to an e-mail; or it could be printed and returned by fax or ordinary mail to ICS, the Conference Secretariat at your earliest convenience, duly filled in and preferably typewritten.

The registration should be followed by your total payment in Danish Kroner (DKK). You are not considered a registered participant until the Conference Secretariat has received your payment.

Conference fees:

Deadline for early registration is June 30, 1996. This deadline will be strictly observed and the low registration fee applies only if the payment has been received by this date.
Danish students have an alternative choice; (in Danish)

The fee for participants includes conference documentation, lunches and coffee during breaks throughout the conference.









The conference dinner will take place at the Nimb's restaurant in the famous Tivoli Gardens on Tuesday 20 August at 7 p.m. The price is DKK 450 per person. Accompanying persons are encouraged to participate in this dinner.

Payment

Payment may be remitted as follows:

1. By bank transfer to account number: 3001-320645, Den danske Bank, Holmens Kanal 2, DK-1092 Copenhagen K, Denmark. Swift address: DA BA DK KK.
   (not applicable for payments made in Denmark).
   
   
2. By banker's draft or cheque made payable to "PARA 96" in Danish Kroner drawn on a Danish bank and sent to the Conference Secretariat. Please note that personal cheques are not accepted except for Danish cheques and preferably Eurocheques, the latter not exceeding DKK 1,500 each. All payments must be followed by a clear indication of the participant's full name and address.
   
   
3. By major credit cards, see registration form.

Accommodation

The Conference Secretariat can offer participants hotel rooms at a special congress discount price. Rooms will be booked on a first come first served basis. Rooms have been reserved at the following hotels:

All hotel prices include private bath, breakfast, 15% service charge and 25% VAT.

Please note: Hotel Accommodation will not be held unless a DKK 1,500 deposit per room is enclosed with the registration form. No registration or room reservation will be confirmed until ICS has received your payment. If the deposit exceeds the actual costs, the difference will be refunded after the conference.

You will receive a confirmation of your hotel booking with full hotel name and address. When you receive the confirmation (hotel voucher), please check that it shows the correct arrival and departure dates. The hotel voucher must be presented to the hotel upon arrival.
Alterations in your hotel booking must be addressed to the Conference Secretariat and not to the hotel.

Flight reservations

The official airline of the PARA 96 conference, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), is offering all participants and accompanying guests a special discount on tickets to Denmark. Kindly contact your national SAS office (in USA: Conferences International Inc. + 1-800-221-8747) and quote reference number DK 9674.
