For both Programs the following applies:

• You will have your own personal tutor. Such a tutor will be an internationally recognized researcher who is firmly rooted in a leading research group.
• You will receive a personalized syllabus containing a number of independent elements in the form of courses and/or projects. The syllabus must be in accordance with the overall competencies described in the ‘flag model’.
• Research affiliation - determined individually in the personalized syllabus - involving affiliation with several research/ development projects.
• Students who have no international experience will be offered to study abroad during an appropriate period of time, and to participate in at least one international research conference, workshop or the like.

Application and Admission

Application to ‘MMC Elite’ is submitted simultaneously with application to the MMC Master, i.e., twice a year. The regular application form is to be used. However, the form must distinctly indicate if you wish to be admitted to the ‘MMC Elite’. Furthermore, a well-substantiated application must be enclosed. The application must contain a description of previous studies and an indication of those disciplines in which you are particularly interested.

Besides meeting the general admission requirements, students who wish to be admitted to the ‘MMC Elite’ must:

• Have completed a Bachelor education with a high GPA (grade point average) (minimum 9-10 according to the new marking scale, - or according to an equivalent scale).
• Have demonstrated a strong professional ambition and have excelled in the preceding Bachelor education, - also in connection with the Bachelor project.
• In a personal interview display strong intellectual and personal qualities.
