- This was the first full year for Dines to be a member of the
council of the local Lutheran Protestant church,
Virum.
- Dines was able to attend most meetings despite much
travelling.
- Right now, December 2009 and January 2010 are especially
important:
- Olav Lilleør, one of our three priests, retired this summer
at age 70.
- So we have advertised for a replacement.
- There was a record number of applicants.
- Many appear to be very suitable.
- We have now decided on a selection of potential candidates.
- We shall listen to their "test" sermon and have a long talk with
each of them,
one each for an evening's worth, in January.
- Once chosen we are stuck with the selected person for up to 30
years !
- Needless to say, Dines enjoy attending Sunday High Mass: Psalms,
Sermon and the Sacrament.
