LAPACK95 Users' Guide | Vincent Allan Barker, L. Susan Blackford, Jack Dongarra, Jeremy Du Croz, Sven Hammarling, Minka Marinova, Jerzy Wasniewski, Plamen Yalamov
| Abstract | Fortran has always been a principal Language in the field of scientific, numerical and engineering computing. A series of versions to the standard defining successive versions of the language has progressively enhanced its power and kept it competitive with several generations of rivals. The present Fortran standard is 95. The new features contained in Fortran 95 ensure that the Fortran language will continue to be used successfully for a long time to come.
This book describes LAPACK95, yet another step in the development of LAPACK.
LAPACK95 is a Fortran95 interface to the Fortran77 LAPACK Library. It is relevant for anyone who writes in the Fortran95 language
and needs reliable software for basic numerical linear algebra. It may be regarded as a sequel to, the official reference for LAPACK. This book explains how to obtain and install the LAPACK95 package, how to use it, and documents the performance of LAPACK95 on a variety of computers. | Keywords | Linear algebra, Solution of linear systems of equation, Eigenvalue problems, Fortran 95 | Type | Book [Author] | Year | 2001 | Publisher | SIAM, Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics | Address | 3600 University City Science Center, Philadelphia, PA 19104-2688, USA | Series | SIAM: Software, Environments and Tools | ISBN / ISSN | ISBN 0-89871-504-0 (pbk.) | Publication link | http://www.netlib.org/lapack95/lug95/ | BibTeX data | [bibtex] | IMM Group(s) | Scientific Computing |
