fMRI Neuroinformatics |
| Abstract | Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) generates vast amounts of data. The handling, processing, and analysis of fMRI data would be inconceivable without computer-based methods. fMRI neuroinformatics is concerned with research, development, and operation of these methods. Reconstruction, rudimentary analysis and visualization tools are implemented in software controlling modern MRI scanners. Research in advanced methods for analysis of subtle activation patterns, realistic physiological modeling, or for integration of data from multiple subjects etc., is the basis for a lively research field and has led to the development of a large number of tools. | Keywords | neuroimaging, image analysis, software | Type | Journal paper [With referee] | Journal | IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Magazine | Editors | | Year | 2006 Month March Vol. 25 No. 2 pp. 112-119 | Publisher | IEEE | Address | New York, NY | ISBN / ISSN | 0739-5175 | Electronic version(s) | [pdf] | Publication link | http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/freeabs_all.jsp?arnumber=1607675 | BibTeX data | [bibtex] | IMM Group(s) | Intelligent Signal Processing |
