Graphical interface to ontologies |

Abstract | This project is about constructing graphical user interfaces for ontologies. An ontology is an abstract model of concepts for a specific domain. During the project we first examine the various ideas about displaying graphs and similar structures that are described in the references. We also examine various visualizations for concept structures including the entity-relationship model.
This model results in a proposal for a graphical system to display ontologies as there are used in the OntoQuery project. The desired functionalities are examined like, for instance, the possibility to navigate the ontology. |
