    abstract     = "As a part of {DTU}’s participation in the competition Solar Decathlon Europe 2012 a group of students, supervisors and sponsors are working to design and construct a sustainable, energy efficient and innovative home for the future. At the department of Informatics and Mathematical Modeling 8 students including myself, are making the control system of the house supervised by Christian D. Jensen. This dissertation is to document the analysis, design and implementation of my contributions to this system. The project was made in the spring semester of 2012 from February 6th to June 6th. The project is my final project on Diploma in information technology as {DTU} and it adheres to the standard terms of {DTU} for Diploma dissertations."
