Extracellular contrast agents may be delivered intracellularly using electroporation techniques in vitro and in vivo. Consequently, this study has utilized electroporation methods to deliver GdDTPA into the cytosol of rat muscle in vivo in order to probe the intracellular compartmentalization of {MR-}visible metabolites." }
