Abstract | This project concerns the simulation of thermoacoustical system. The aim is to have a numerical method capable of doing broadband analysis of such system through time-domain simulation. The numerical scheme used to the spatial discretization of the governing equations is the discontinuous Galerkin method. The acoustic theory is presented, and parts of this is used to include heat effects into the numerical scheme. The resulting method is then investigated through some experiments. |
