The Virtual Grand Tour as Educational Paradigm |
Per Skafte Hansen, Lars Mouritsen
|
Abstract | The Virtual Grand Tour as defined here bears some resemblance to its 18th century ancestor: a wide range of individual topics are treated as a whole; a tutor, whether real or simulated, present or remote, is provided; a set of problem solving tools forms an integrated part of the "traveller's" equipment; and exploration is encouraged. |
