Introduction to Numerical Computation - analysis and Matlab illustrations | Lars Elden, Linde Wittmeyer-Koch, Hans Bruun Nielsen
| Abstract | In a modern programming environment like eg MATLAB it is possible by
simple commands to perform advanced calculations on a personal
computer. In order to use such a powerful tool efiiciently it is
necessary to have an overview of available numerical methods and
algorithms and to know about their properties.
The book describes and analyses numerical methods for error analysis,
differentiation, integration, interpolation and approximation, and the
solution of nonlinear equations, linear systems of algebraic equations
and systems of ordinary differential equations. Principles and
algorithms are illustrated by examples in MATLAB. | Keywords | numerical analysis, Matlab | Type | Book [Author] | Year | 2004 Month July pp. 381 | Publisher | Studentlitteratur | Address | Lund | BibTeX data | [bibtex] | IMM Group(s) | Scientific Computing |
