A combined alignment and registration scheme of psoriasis lesion
images |
| Abstract | A two-stage registration scheme of psoriasis lesion patterns is proposed. In the first stage, global rotation and translation effects of assumed equally scaled psoriasis lesion patterns are removed. In the second stage, only local translation effects are removed. In both stages a novel algorithm for extreme value detection is applied. The output of each stage is evaluated with the M.A.D. transform and the correlation coefficient.
