Domain Analyses: A Case Study of Station Management |
| Type | Conference paper [With referee] | Conference | KICS'94: Kunming International CASE Symposium, Yunnan Province, P.R.of China | Year | 1994 | Note | Domain Analysis is applied to four distinct fields: (1) The intrinsics of the Application Domain property -void of any reference to implementing technology and people. (2) The current underlying Railway Technology, excluding the Computing Platform -- void of reference to human users. (3) The human operator and other user roles. (4) The computing and communication platforms. Requirements Capture is now a process which, from the resulting descriptions of the three domains, extract their interaction to come up with a Requirements, i.e. a Software Specification - from which increasingly concrete Software Design Descriptions are derived, finally resulting in Code. In this paper we will only deal with the domain analysis aspects, incl. their domain description. This report is incomplete. Only (1) and narrative of (2) is reasonable complete, whereas the rest consists of notes | BibTeX data | [bibtex] | IMM Group(s) | Computer Science & Engineering |
