Elite Student Scholarship
Objective
The IMM Graduate
School ITMAN wishes to give elite students within applied
mathematics and information technology the opportunity to devote
themselves to their master thesis projects and research full time in
a challenging and stimulating research environment.
ITMAN Elite Student Scholarship
The scholarship is approx. DKK 5,000 per month. The scholarship
can be obtained for a maximum of 12 months and cannot be prolonged.
Shorter scholarship periods are also possible. Motivation for choice
of scholarship period must be stated clearly in the master thesis
project description and time schedule.
The Elite Student has the possibility to apply separately for
additional funds for travels to conferences and any collaborators at
other universities abroad.
Basic Conditions for Scholarship
You must be enrolled as a master student at DTU.
You must have an agreement with an ITMAN/IMM supervisor regarding a
specific master thesis project.
The project must take place at IMM, DTU.
The scholarship period may include up to one semester of course
work.
If you receive a scholarship, you must contribute to IMM Open House
events, IMM events targeted at high school students and other
events.
You are not to take any paid job in the scholarship period.
ITMAN Elite Student Workshop
Every year there will be a workshop where the Elite Students
will present their results.

The application and attachments may be submitted by e-mail or by

A limited number of scholarships are available and candidates will
be selected by the Board of ITMAN based on their qualifications
Deadline
Application deadline is June 1st, 2007.
Decisions will be communicated by June 22nd, 2007.
Next application deadline will be June 1st, 2008.
