modelling,
Likelihood
based methods, general linear models,
generalized linear models, mixed effects models.
To introduce the participants to modern concepts and methods used for
analysis of different type of data and to give them skills in using the
methods for model building in practice using the R program
(www.r-project.org).
By the end of the course you should be able to analyze variation in
different types of data, identify significant sources of variation and
assess their effect, usually by means of a statistical model.
Time and place: Monday 13:00-17:00
