Description:

It's a matter of fact that, today, IoT (Internet of Things) devices are extremely poorly secured. There are several different malwares that are taking advantage of this insecurity trend to spread globally and build large botnets, later used for powerful cyber-attacks, such as Distributed Denial of Service Attacks (DDoS). Here is where AntibIoTic comes in.

AntibIoTic is a white worm designed to infect vulnerable devices, creating a white botnet of safe systems and removing them from the clutches of other potential malwares. It is also designed to increase the awareness about the IoT security problem by creating a bridge between security experts, device manufacturers, and users.

The aim of the thesis is to implement a module of the Bot component of AntibIoTic.
