Description:

The Terma company is currently developing a next generation star tracker that is in need for a so-called Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). The EGSE is a test-bench which is used during instrument testing prior to delivery for satellite integration and comprises:

This projects aims at developing the user control software which should:

  1. Provide a user friendly interface for star tracker commanding (TC)
  2. Provide a user friendly interface for reception and visualization of star tracker telemetry (TM)
  3. Enable TC/TM logging and storage and playback functionality
  4. Provide interface control of the PC peripherals
  5. Provide a "scripting interface" for automated test execution
The software shall be developed in Java, so good programming skills in this language are required.

The project is done in cooperation with Terma, Herlev.

Prerequisites:  02158 Concurrent Programming (recommended)
Preferably experience with embedded systems
