Description:

Coordinating tools and their interaction is complicated. Architects and building designers use various tools for building performance simulation. This is a tedious, time consuming task - you can help! In this project we will research how to couple a visual programming language (Grasshopper3d) with such simulation tools. Based on an investigation of how to couple a programming language to tools, the target will be the Grasshopper language, and the mapping of tools, run-time options, etc. The second step is to use these findings to improve the coupling and speed of interaction.
