Do you use the Internet or a cellphone? What would you do without power? Our societies depend on critical infrastructure such as the power grid. Without power, our everyday life would not be possible - Internet and television would not be available, but also crisis management would be hampered. In this project we view power grids as cyber-physical systems that combine the power network, ICT systems, and the control functions between them. Based on this model of the critical infrastructure, we will use graph-based analyses to identify possible attack-strategies and try to identify countermeasures.
