For the coming DTUsat project (www.dtusat.dtu.dk) a Mission Planning System (MPS) should be developed. The MPS should be responsible for planning the operation of the satellite (especially generating regular command sequences) using an intuitive graphical user interface.
The MPS should work as a client to the existing Mission Control Centre, (MCC) that handles the transfer of information with the satellite via a Ground Station.
The MPS must be implemented in Java using RMI for server communication. The system must use (and modify as needed) existing interfaces and program components.
