Below you will find a list of questions - received either by e-mail or put to us at the exercises - and some answers.

1. 17. Why are we not allowed to use Netbeans as an editor of our source code ?
   1. No problem!
      But the problem arises if you use the graphical environment of Netbeans or another tool to construct the GUI code. E.g. buttons and labels can then interactively be moved around and the resulting Java code is not readable. Furthermore that gives us no possibility to judge about your understanding of the basic principles behind constructing a GUI, refer to section 11.2 of the BK textbook
2. 17. I am a little confused about the final Mandatory Assignment:
       The deadline to hand in the program and report is the Dec,9th or do I have to hand in the program before Nov,3rd?
   1. It's only in case of a wish to have feedback on part one of your work that you should hand in something in November as stated on the following link
