Grades are given using the 7 step scale, see below.

A grade is given based on an evaluation of one final project report documenting the mandatory assignment to be carried out in the following periods:

1. Oct.   5 - Nov.  2   (first part)
2. Nov. 15 - Dec.  7   (second part)

The report should cover both parts of the assignment and is expected to be the result of the individual work of only one student.


If you leave out the second part of the assignment it's still possible to pass the course, but the result of an evaluation will probably then be limited to one of the four lowest grades of the 7 step scale.
